Metal luster Glaze

I was asked about finishing sculptures to look like gold!

Well there are several  ways..Gold powders can be mixed in a medium such as shellac and applied, in the case of this sculpture by Maria a gold lustre glaze has been used..Quite striking!!
You could also apply gold leaf (gilding)..or spray gold. Cast bronze may be polished to a golden patina also.
